Dash board speaker help

Ok so my sound system is slightly lacking the vocal range a little bit and i was thinking about putting some small speakers up on the dashboard facing up and was wondering what size speaker i should get that will help give me a good sound for the mid/high range like the vocals and such and if the dashboard would be a good place for them, thinking that the sound would bounce of the dash board and reflect back at the listener, is that thinking correct ? and what would be a good low budget speaker for that?

Why not do custom pillars?

i have a dual gauge pillar on driver side so adding a speaker to both will just make the driver side pillar WAY to active for my taste and be very off balanced with the passenger side

maybe try some kick panels if you have the room

Yea, like Reno said. I don't think the speakers pointing up would do too great with imaging.

yeah but i see cars with dash speakers all the time, wouldnt the sound bounce off the windsheild back to the listener ?? ill look at my kicks see what i can do i think a small 3inch speaker wouldnt take up to much room
