nCOMP1337
i dont have much room to talk caus eim trying to work out 6th orders but you should at least do a bit of research about 4th orders before deciding to build one and in the bit of research learning about ratios and such of sealed vs ported you should learn at least a little on how its tuned, get a rough idea of how its done, and then see if someone can help you

fecupe2001
Why do you need to know the tuning if ram is designing you the box? just talk to him and tell him your goals, the guy knows a lot!!! About my personal experience, depends on the ratio and size of the rear chamber, but a high 40´s and low 50´s tuning it´s good for a flat respond, mid and low 40´s it´s gonna give you a low peak, of course, this is a very general comment, there´s much more behind this numbers Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. slaughter
I need to know the tuning because when you send in the information you need to put in the tune. I was thinking either 45 or 48 from what I seen Quote SOLD 2006 Ford Ranger Single Cab2 DC XL 15's2 Crescendo BC2k's4th Order Blowthrough CURRENT 2012 Dodge Charger R/T 2 Tantric HD 12's Ampere 3800 2 XS XP 3000's
fecupe2001
Well, he must have some kind of Note tool or something i dunno since i´ve never asked for a desgin to him, maybe you can send him a PM on the forum and ask him, he´s online on the forum for a good amount of time everyday i think, once again, i can´t recommend you a tuning freqcuency on the front chamber because i don´t know any specs of the box he´s gonna design for you Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. slaughter
I have already talked to him and he said 45 for a lot of low end and 48 for all-around but I just wanted other peoples thoughts on it, I think I'll be going with 45 Quote SOLD 2006 Ford Ranger Single Cab2 DC XL 15's2 Crescendo BC2k's4th Order Blowthrough CURRENT 2012 Dodge Charger R/T 2 Tantric HD 12's Ampere 3800 2 XS XP 3000's
RAM_Designs
I've done 45hz with a few boxes and it works quite well for most subs. I like a fair amount of low-end as well.
