cartunez2004 Posted October 17, 2007 Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) heres a pic ok right now i have my box wit subs up and port back. i was thinkin of puttin the ports facing up that way all the air is getting pushed out cause as u can see the ports are only like 5'' away from the hatch does anyone have any suggestions if it will hit louder that way rite now im at 144.1 on music ok people are telling me to make the port bigger so i am im gonna build the same box size and all. guy told me to basically just extend the ports and make them one so he said just connect them to gather across the box how much will this change my tuning ?????? andym85 Posted October 17, 2007 Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 first find some good mounting points where u can bolt ur box to the vehicle...maybe make a base out of 2x4s or a sheet of mdf and bolt that to ur mounting points...just go from there..with walls u just kinda gotta jump in and learn/create as u go...the most important thing though is to make sure the box isnt going anywhere if u get in an accident...
