i have 2 PB 12s model S-124d dvc 4ohms max=600 rms=300 in a slot ported box. My amp is SSL EV2.1000Tri-mode operation

i wired the sub parallel series and bridged at amp. i, worried i might blow subs because amp bridged at 4 ohm is 1000w rms so what do i do

Re Edit. I have my level at 25%, low pass halfway and bass boost at 18 db on amp. 0 db on remote and sub +10 db on headunit

Turn the gain down a little bit.

Turn Bass Boost off, set gains with an oscilloscope or DD-1, that amp isn't putting out 1000wrms, more like 400wrms bridged at 4ohm. Your subs are rated for 300wrms, you will be fine.

Like he said, turn bass boost off, set bass to 0 on head unit. If it's not as loud as you want, get someone to set it with an oscope, you might be able to turn the gain up a bit depending on your headunit.

Yeah man, never worry about the max rating on amps, that number really doenst mean anything... The RMS is what matters and is actually more like the "max" output of your amp
