2 Lv 2 12s then lol, or 2 Lv3 12s if you can afford them. Pm CJ18, Dwright27, or Chode69 for pricing on DC equipment. You can buy the AQ750 online for $200, get an amp kit from KnuKonceptz.com, buy the wood from Home Depot/ Lowes.

Thanks for the help man, looks like a plan. I'm kinda leaning toward the 2 level3s.

Man, if you can afford to get them :D

Kasey (thehoe92) is selling upgraded Lv4 15s for around $250, you may want to look into getting one of them as well.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Yea man , research and go with the mainstream brands and you won't be let down , and build your owne box ;-) , or get out of car audio while u can , it's like a drug once u start u may not be able to stop

It is a drug haha.... And if you go with level 3's your going to want to step up the amp, honestly you might just want to stick with the level 2's for your first system! 2 12" level twos or 1 15" level 3 is probably more like it haha.

And some thing important! The sub and amp are only half the battle! a lot of kids get so exited about what sub and what amp that they have, they over look two VERY crucial parts to their system

1. Wiring!!!!

2. PROPER enclosure

An earlier comment today said "just get some cheap wiring kit" and that is not what you want to do! You are going to need a true 4ga power wire, it's not cheap! You don't want some wire that says 4ga but really compares to 10ga with a thicker jacket! Like supercharged said get knu concepts, a kicker amp kit, a Rockford fosgate amp kit, or something along the line, if you have questions about a wire you can pm me and I'll help you!

Now for the enclosure! The most bad ass subs and the best amp in the world will sound shitty in a bad enclosure! Don't overlook this step!!! Read up on them and see what is needed, there are even people on here that will design an enclosure for your specific vehicle tuned to whatever frequency your subs need and then send you all the box plans with every single cut you need to make, and they only charge $20-30 to do it, then you go to home depot and buy a sheet or two of 3/4" MDF for $30 and for $60 dollars you just made the best enclosure possible! Compare that to $300 that a shop would charge you and still do it wrong... The enclosure is so important! So patience is key sometimes!

We might seem like jerks but we are here to help, pm me if you need something

I would not get that setup. Give me a maximum budget and vehicle that the system will be going in, I'll try and help.

Budget would be around $600 and it'll going in the cab of an 01 Dodge Ram ext.cab

2 DC Lv2 15s

1 AQ750

1 Wiring Kit ( I believe the AQ750 accepts 4awg)

That should be around $400. Then I would buy materials for the enclosure, your going to build your first ported box, congrats! ;) that should be another $100 or so. Then with the $100 you have left, buy two pairs of component sets, doesn't have to be anything amazing for your first system.

I like this one x3/(lvl3's).
