im trying to stay under 800 for the sub and the amp

2 pretty SA 12 D4, wired on a nice well known budget amp. So you have a rest of 250 $ for nice 0/1 gauge wire for power, ground and BIG 3, some fuseholders and ANL fuses (1 fuseholder and fuse comes with the amp, and some wood for the box.

800 $ spend

im buying a aq2200 for 350 from a local guy. but i dont know what sub to get...

The SA´s are still a good idea them can take a lot of power.

But a single quality 15 will likely play lower than the SA's.

OP - I would look into a DC lvl 4 15 if you have time to burn. If not, look into a DD 3515

Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD | Hertz 6.5 | Alpine Type R 6x9 | Custom 200A Alt | Knu Flek 1/0 Big 3 and all wiring | Eclipse EA3422 | AudioQue 2200d | DC XL 12 | Red Oak Box ~2.8 cubes @ 30 hz |

In the want to sale section he can get a used lvl 4 with lvl 5 softparts D2, but if he order one now idk when he want to get his subs.

The orderlist is long at DC in the moment.

PS. And i would recomand an XL for the AQ amp

He is getting the 2200d already if I read correctly. THe N2 15 is a great choice to go along with the AQ2200d
