As the title states, what do you feed your pit?

I was feeding mine eukanuba large breed puppy chow but he just turned 1 and I feel its about time to switch him to something different than a puppy chow. Another reason Im switching is because of its price and availability, I simply cannot afford to drive an hour away for an expensive dog food anymore. (won't be a problem this fall when i move back to campus but for now its kinda a pain in the ass and wallet)

Not looking to go super cheap but hoping for something more reasonably priced than 70+ a bag since he's eating more as he gets older. I do know that going too cheap will cause him to eat alot more which is what im trying to avoid. And of course I want something that is good for him, he's my f*cking boyyyy. :drinks:

Any foods that start with chicken beef etc as the first Ingredient on the label. I was feeding my dog Purina One, but swtiched him as he is fully grown now to pedigree ( mainly cause theres 3 other dogs in the house) but if i was you i wouldnt swtich from Large Breed Puppy food for a couple more months i waited till like 3 months after he turned 1.

Purina & Iams are great dog foods that wont break the bank but stick to what i said above and ur good.

Oh and heres my baby

I may buy another bag of eukanuba then, it usually lasts a few months.

I've heard a few people say add goat milk to their food once a day...why?

Thats a great looking dog cubs.

When i had my pit I feed him Blue Buffalo, high in protein and pricey but worth it. He got more muscular and bigger compared to when I fed him eukanuba. His poop reeked more because of the protein but it was worth it Lol. Sometimes I would add spoonfuls of peanut butter for added protein.

Eukanuba is the best IMO. I gave my old pitt zeus a supplement daily with his. Called k9 Mega AIO results were very noticeable. He was more attentive and worked harder when he was bulking up. Blue pitts FTW(he was stolen) still brings a tear to me ;(

Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins smile.gif
