bassrace
cool.. i want to go subs forward But unless you seal it off its not your best bet, and if you seal it off then everyone is going to say its not officially still a trunk car setup, which is pretty goofy but thats how ppl think. 145.9@40hz 145.3@34hz big 3 X2 group 34 Deka Group 31 All 0/1 awg jl meta wire Alpine CDA 7894 Orion HCCA D5000 2 AQ HDC312's Crunch gpv1100.2 (for 6.5"s only) AQ pro audio 6.5" - 3 sets AQ supertweeters - 2 sets 2000 Slamry
cc_audio
Literally everything about a trunk car works against you. -Very small area for enclosure -Awkward area to build enclosure in -Small enclosure space means limited driver size (both in box volume and in literal driver dimensions) -Lack of driver surface area means more power, and you'll need lots of it -Better have some high quality high power mean ass drivers to throw in there -Huge cabin to fill, especially with 4 door cars -No cutting corners, loud trunk cars are not for the lazy or noobs. If your lazy, buy a Ford exploder -Seal it completely off and deaden EVERYTHING -Gotta have a monster amp, or multiple strapped depending on space -Never enough room for batts for said monster amp -Large or multiple alts are a challenge as well Its a challenge that is certainly not impossible, but its definitely not for noobs. And to top it off, if you want it all to look just as pretty you better plan ahead. There is no space for half assing. But I say once you can get loud out of a trunk, you can get loud out of anything. EDIT: Its one thing to get 150+ out of a trunk, if you have the equipment a number is easy. But to build a daily driver with a nice response curve that puts up big numbers across the board and is also presentable...well there's your challenge. It's all gone! TheyDontWantMusic
I thought you were doing this with the back seat still in, seeing it doesn't fold. if you're unbolting the seat to fold it, you may as well just remove it, and do a half wall in place of the back seat.
