RooTxBeeR
I have the topic pinned about this with the chart. My question is, does anyone know how the Voltage output for 2,4,8 ohms from 100 watts down? I currently have my subs wired as 2x 8 ohm bridged. I would like to try out 2 x 2 ohm, then put my 6x9's on the other 2 channels since the amp is a 4 channel. Here are the specs on the amp. Also would there be any performance difference from switching from 2 x 8ohm bridged to 2 x 2 ohm normal. The amp gets very hot the way it is now. - RMS Continuous Power output 25 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms, 0.08% THD 35 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms, 0.3% THD 70 watts bridged into 4 ohms, 0.3% THD (which I see 35 watts x2 bridged since it's at 8 ohms) - Dynamic Power (@ 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz) 40 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms, 0.08% THD 50 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms, 0.3% THD 100 watts bridged into 4 ohms, 0.3% THD (which I see 50 watts x2 bridged since it's at 8 ohms) On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. Torres
it's easy. you take the power, multiply it by the impedance, and take the square root of that number. 25 @ 4 ohms would be 10 volts -- 25 * 4 = 100. square root of 100 is
