Lol all good. Haven't yet it's around 630 sqin right now lol. Gonna bring it down to 570 to begin with. Throw some flares on it as well then go from there

Edit. No rule of thumb really on the original size. I've read to make it big then start shrinking till it's where it needs to be. The first shrinking I guess is kind of a rule of thumb I've heard. 18 to 22 per on the front port.

That's pretty much what I've always heard as well. Thank you for all of your input. I hope you post up more videos of that monster and I look forward to the 160 you are after. Have you been able to get any numbers without shrinking the port?

Haven't yet. Actually been out I state for the past week or so. Miss my system so bad lol. Wanna meter first before I start changing things so I know what changes did what. Lookin like jan 2 I'll get numbers working on getting my second alt in right now too.

got some burp scores today. didn't take any pcitures cuz honestly i don't really need a reason to prove/lie about it lol.

158.5 driver door open on dash @ 47 hz

158.2 sealed @ 44 hz

still haven't tuned it yet. volume was at 36/40 gains on 3500s at 0. gonna shrink and round the port now that i have some numbers. and get it on my smd distortion detector.

Well, right now i don´t have any question at all, i was unsure on what kind of 6th order to go with, paralell or series, after seeing your build, pretty sure i made my decision lol, i´m not looking for a 158 score, specially since i´m using 4 years old subs and 4K before rise and voltage drops on a 12v system, but a 152 around 40 hz would satisfy me lol.

I do want a wind tunnel like yours tho, i still don´t get how the fuck you managed to get such a flat respond, any inputs??? i´m kind of a noob about walls, pretty sure i´ll end up paying for a design lol

honestly i don't even know what kind of 6th mine is with the ports where they are and so close to the front opening. i didn't design for a wind tunnel. personally i think get loud and the wind will follow lol

my voltage is dropping to 10.5 on music lol. needs upgrades. bad. haha

honesty thinking about switching to 16 volt once i get my second alt on, only problem is midwest spl is 12 volt only

*edit - flat response? ummm, i'm not really sure to be honest haha. front rear ratio maybe? the peak in it is noticeable though. i'm still learning more and more about 6th's. probably should of did my learning before i built a wall into my car haha.
