I Was Thinking...

Recommended Posts

Here is what I was thinking about doing...

Getting two more assassins, wiring the 4 of them to one Ohm.

Then buying a Crunch PZI 3000.1D

PZI 3000.1D

D-Class Mono Amplifier

3000W 1-Channel

750W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms or

1500W x 1-Ch @ 2-Ohms or

3000W x 1-Ch @ 1-Ohm

I'm sure it's good for at least 2000W RMS at 14.4V thus still being able to give each of my assassins 500W RMS. and for $220 that's not bad

I'm gonna upgrade my power from one run of 4 gauge to a 4 gauge run plus a 0 gauge run.....

about 3CF tuned to 30Hz sound alright? or should I tune higher with the 8's?

225HP 1996 S-Dime

JVC KD-G820

Crunch PZi 2250 powering Two Ascendant Audio Assassin 8s wired to 2 ohm at 225W RMS 2.26CF @ 36.4Hz 43.5 square inches of port with 45's

Kicker ZX350.4 powering CDT CL-61A's with TW-24 Tweeters

but the BXi 1606D has two 35A fuses and it does just about rated power, how could the amp with two 50A fuses do less?
