armykyle1 Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 This is for a trunk car, I have roughly 6 cubes to work with. I know the 15s have the most cone area, but space is an issue. I currently have a titanium 15 sitting in my closet and two D6 12s installed. I've been trying to find a matching 15 but no luck. I've also been trying to find a D6 motor so I can build some custom 12s. But no luck on that either. Now I'm looking into subs similar to Rli-10/8, orphan 8s can be had for a pretty good price. I was wanting box ideas(sub/port placement) and pros/cons of either. power will be in the 2500 range. goal is loud and low. high xmax subs with lower FS. Maybe squeeze a 148:) pros and cons of trunk walling would be great too. I know this is really generalized but I want an array of ideas. I ran 3 rli-10s in 3.5 cubes and the didn't like it at all. it was loud, but they didn't like it lol.2 cubes would have been way better I can squeeze 7 cubes, but I'd have to a trunk wall and port through the deck. i don't care about taking up the trunk.
