has anyone here used any dayton audio woofers? I was debating using the Titanic MKIII 10s in a build

While I haven't used any of their woofers personally, I've seen many people use them for home theater applications and loved them. They are a solid brand. They're well known for their plate amps as well.

I can't attest for their subwoofers but i can speak for the brand. Dayton Audio pays a ton of attention to detail, and when crossed correctly they sound AMAZING, but typically on moderate power only. Too much power and they suffer.

I have two Dayton 18" DCS-450's on 240 watts infinite baffle. (Going to a ported wall next month) with 1-1.5k watts. They are really great. Most of them do have lower power handling like Chris says. These ^ are rated for only 350 rms.

The titanic are some of the best subs that they make. I can tell you that they are difficult to model in enclosure/box software. I just call dayton and ask them about different enclosure designs. If you leave them a message they will call you back the same day.
