And again, a better amp can be had on a budget and still fall within your total package allowance. For two sa or oa subs you would require a good 1200 plus watts at rated power for a pair. But they are pretty similar man, I have a couple obsidians and I have an SA. Really you'll be happy with either sub. My obsidians are on 2000wrms and they do fine on it, the sa are just as underrated if not more. Tbh both are amazing subs for the price and I love them, I'd buy more obsidians, or sundowns any day so far... Go to the members rides section and go to the build log that says "daily cummins diesel with obsidian audio ..." I just posted a short video (on a poor quality camera) today. I noticed that the camera wasn't really picking up the flex like it is in person so I walked over to my barn with the camera and you can see how the lows are hitting, it is making the barn rattle like crazy all over. I think I like the obsidians a bit better cuz they a little cheaper and I think they look a little cooler than the sa's. My house is about 50-100ft away from where I made that video and when I got inside my mom was all pissed because all of the windows in my house were shaking haha. And really I still had a lot of volume to give them, but I want to set my gains with a DD before I go too wild so far... I would have thought the jl would've gone before The Rockford but I guess not. Well ima get started on making the box tomorrow.
