kam311
Well 15's will move more air, in the right box 15's should be a little louder just because of cone area. But if you already have a box for 12's that's save you a lot of money... But also it's important to have a box that is made to spec for the subs. The specs on obsidian 12 are around 2ft^3 of airspace per sub ported at 30-35hz. So if your box is tuned to those spec more or less than 12's would probably be the way to go. Of you have to make a new box anyway and you have a lot of airspace to use I'd probably go with the 15's... But the difference isn't going to be very big. Either set up will make you happy so far... NotEnoughBass
I see a lot of these types of subs reverse mounted. kam311
Awesome man! Just email nick, he will take care of you, plus making the box is kinda fun, you can check out my build log and see like when I made my box and everything. And about reverse mounting your subs, I'm sure someone can give yoh all kinds of technical reasons and pros and cons of it, but from what I've seen, people just think the subs ass is sexy! Lol, and also sometimes if airspace is limited, reverse mounting the sub can save you the displacement of your subs at least, giving you around .10-.15ft^3 more airspace per sub so far...
