C.Sanchez.A
I don't have the cash for a H/O alt for my 2002 mazda protege. What other alt could I use to get some extra power? C.Sanchez.A
At the moment I have a car loan and a few credit cards to pay off. I'm just trying to see what other options I have beside paying $570 plus shipping for the h/o. wizart383
What amp(s) are you running? Could possibly get away with extra batt in the rear.
Watch the bass
There is a thread of a member who grabed a vew CS 144 alt´s from the junkyard for 20-25 each. "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley
UnderLoK
I don't know anything about the alt in your car, but find where the guys get CS, AD, or DR kits from and ask them about your alt. Odds are they have access to a kit for yours too. I would start by finding out which alt I had (is it Mazda only or is it one from Ford) and then do some research to see if Mazda used that same case in a bigger vehicle that put out more amps. Another option is making a bracket to fit an AD244 alt or the like which are fairly cheap. On a side note, props for taking care of your shit before making things worse by charging things up even more If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARSCheck out my walled TBSS build over here4 Fi Team 18s on 2 Cactus K9 DS18 doors on 2 MBQ 1Ks, Vifa pillars on a STL4.500 Pioneer X8500 6 XS Power D7500, 1 3400S Second Skin 2 270a Mechman Alts

Just pay off credit card and car loan and then buy everything you need. Otherwise, you will be stuck with debt.

Wouldn't adding another battery put extra strain on an already strained alt?
