i want to put my 15 in a 4th order and i was looking for rules of thumb like a recomended ratio, port tuning, and stuff like that

I would do that one 15 in 1.5 - 2 cubes and ported side is double that, my decision would be based on power used.

well i have a hifonics 1000d

the sub is wired to 2ohms so from 550 to 750 watts

and how do you build the port

What do you mean with how you build the port? if the box has a 2:1 ratio using 2 c/f on the sealed chamber, this means you need 4 c/f of ported chamber with 64-80 SQ of port , since the sealed chamber is kind of big because of the power you are using, you don´t need a low tuning to play the lows, i would tune it around 46-49 hz maybe? that should do the job
