dkahns51
Ok, so there is the video cable that goes to the deck, got that in. Then another cable that comes from the camera with red/black wires. I grounded the black on the chasis near the back.. For the red wire i hooked it up to the remote wire going to the back amps. Its not working... So do i need to bring the red wire all the way up front and hook it to the Yellow 12v constant from the harness? or what should i do with it? dkahns51
Maybe you can put it in the positive terminal of the amp to see if it works? Amps are not hooked up right now, so no i cant . But that doesnt sound right... Quote **Clicky>>My 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Buildlog<<Clicky** I'm messing up 98% of the time
BlitZ
wire the red to your reverse lights. that way it comes on when you shift into reverse. Quiet
The cam probably takes 250mA to half an amp of current, especially if it's got IR LEDs. It's probably more than your deck can put out on the remote wire. Use a relay to make sure it gets the current it needs My link hope this helps. Dont' worry about the fuse calculator stuff, I just posted it for the wiring diagram EDIT: premature ePOSTulation Edited July 17, 2011 by srp365 Quote 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. I have the Reverse signal wire from deck going into the reverse wire for car. you could wire it to that. or just tap into the light if you dont want to run the wire all the way up. I got the yellow video going up to the deck and nothing is happening at all. It doesnt turn on, and on the Head unit it shows it greyed out like its not connected. Any thoughts?
