rickyfromthe407 Posted July 22, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 i seriously think im gonna rip out my system and clean it up/finish it this week lol, i gotta deaden my truck, build false floor / stand for box, and an amp rack, and re-wire with 1/0awg all before next month's show, but im sooo lazy but this build is making me really wanna do it haha coming out awesome ! Do it broo! False floor is a BITCH though...for a trunk car at-least. Haven't built an amp rack yet. But I dont think it will be that hard since I have built just about everything. Don't know how hard it is to do the deadening stuff, seems like it could be a bit hard...but Im not sure. Rest is pretty straight forward, and 100% worth it. Stay tuned man I got some good stuff coming up! I just did that on my other forum. Hadn't hear anything from anyone over there in quite a few posts and was like "did I loose everyone here" and they were in like whoa! Sometimes it's like a movie. If it clears up, I might get out there and do the battery rack. But really just been waiting on a few parts and pieces and an amp Today was not 100% useless though! I did manage to run up to the store and get some ring terminals for my speaker wire that I forgot to order off parts express. Amp rack ideas are being drawn to my best ability in sketchup ( not working out too well ) Well...till the rain clears! If you have success with your amp rack, which I'm sure you will, this might be really sweet. He has got some other work that I am extremely proud of as well and I am sure he is as well. EDIT: There use to be some random, irrelevant pics here about some other woodwork. But photobucket since deleted my pics, and since they completely irrelevant to the build, I will leave them out. Sorry guys. To not get completely off topic, you have any drawings of the amp rack to show off yet? Not sure, I guess he just wanted to build a Model T but he built it a good 5 years ago and it still runs strong. It seats up to 4 people, but it is quite a load for it. Seating 2 people though, it is GREAT! Dont have any drawings of the amp rack, but I am working on them, not that great with sketchup. But I am going to try to incorporate a cooling system something like 12v fans or something underneath it to give it a bit more cooling in the hot trunk. But I am working, I should have some by tonight for sure.
