monsterenergy93
Hey i happen to have come across a really cheap kicker L7 15" i have a amp that will do 1100 rms and was just wondering on what kind of box to put it in. My car has a rather small trunk/back seat for me to use. kicker website suggest 3-6 cubic feet for vented and 1.5-6 cubic feet sealed. i only have about 3.5 cubic feet total to use. would the sub be louder ported or sealed at only about 3 cubic feet? thanks
EVAlonSo
I would post this in the subwoofer/enclosures section. As for an answer.. that is a very tiny trunk. what kind of vehicle do you have? kam311
Did you already buy the l7? If not I would just get a nice 12" sub instead for your airspace issue mainly! That 15" l7 could use a really big box and do great! Bit I don't know about 3-3.5ft with it. And I would definatly do a ported enclosure, but that is just my preference, I like the lows so far...
