Most degreasers wont touch the shit.

Goo Gone or similar citrus oil based cleaners will take that bitumen adhesive off, just you have to follow that up with some sort degreaser or mineral spirits to get that off before you apply any other material.

Also depending on what stage of failure the product is in dictates how easy it'll come off.

have my teammate deepsilencer here on smd he just recently pulled down his head liner for some work he was doin to his car and his fatmat that we installed not even a year ago is already comming down

The fatmat in my trunk from 2 years ago is fine... And I did my WHOLE trunk... I do like my damplifier pro more though.
