detroitdiesel
Just wondering I'd the original 1999 Orion xtr pros are any good? They are built by tc sound, have a 12 spoke basket and 2.5 coil so I'm assuming they are easily reconed?
RAM_Designs
Are you referring to the logoless 12" ones on ebay? They're decent. I had a few of the 15's that were being sold on ebay maybe 5 years ago...they seemed to work pretty well, but being a woofer from 1999, excursion is somewhat limited compared to what we're used to with modern subs. RAM_Designs
I'm sure he can do something, but I wouldn't count on that motor allowing for a lot of mechanical clearance, from what I remember. Yes, the xmech is limited compared to the subs we're used to today with 3"(or more) xmech. ktraughb
Correct above. Smaller ported boxes would prob be in order to avoid mechanically hitting the sub. Good subs though. Good sq and fairly loud.
RAM_Designs
Good sq and fairly loud. Agreed, I was pretty impressed with mine considering the age. The car was built and finished for 9 days then some cocksucker stole it with a tow truck. My neighbors thought I had it being ng towed to a shop MF'er Quote ="Impact"] pioneer 4200 dvd 4 sets aa carbon mids 2 sets rockford power t1 tweeters rockford power t400.4 rockford power 4inch DC 175.4 DC 3.5k (soon to be 2) 2 DC XL 15s The artist formally known as willie3719
RAM_Designs
Just search eBay for "xtr pro" and you'll see them. They have no logo.
