sundownz
You dont need lots of power on this type of speaker to sound good or to get loud. If you heard Brandons truck, the Beymas I put in there for him are only getting like 60w each and you see how loud they are. Only Sundowns I heard were in Nate(Rainman) Honda and they sound great! I dont think they are as loud as other pro speakers but they deff have some nice mid bass/range. And by no means am I saying they are not loud either. I dont even own a drop of Sundown equip but for the money, they are making some amazing products. Part of the trade for the added mid-bass was a bit less sensitivity on them -- but I figure with the amount of power / quantity of these people run it'll come out in the wash I may do a dedicated midrange later, but for the NeoPro I focused on in-door mid-bass. sundownz
I am looking at possibly offering 4 ohm and 8 ohm on these... maybe bringing 4 ohm out later on the 8s and 10s as well. Rainman215
8 ohm is fine. Because like stated before, you don't need alot of power. My 8s are on my 100.4 bridged so I guess about 140ish per mid. Even when I had them at 8 ohm Per channel it killed my previous setup. But that extra power bought them to life. And the midbass definitely does get it rockin. At PCA events I'm undefeated in concert showdown since I made the switch to the neo pros. I find myself demoing the mids/highs more than the bass nowadays lol. 4 ohm mids would be nice too. But probably only on the 6.5 for people that wanna replace stock location speakers Edited December 2, 2011 by Rainman215 Quote My 02 Accord Wall Build 2 Sundown Audio Nightshade V1 18s --- 1 SAZ 3500 Sundown Audio 100.4 --- 4 Sundown Audio Neo-Pro 8s Sundown Audio 125.2 --- 2 Morel MD-12 Tweeters , 2 Selenium ST-200 Tweeters DC Power 270xp --- 4 XS Power D1200s | 1 D5100R

sundownz
Okay - I am going to start production next week... and the 6.5" will be in 8 ohm OR 4 ohm configuration (which will eventually show up on 8s and 10s). Realistically what will the expexted delivery date be? Will there be an audible difference between the 4 and the 8? Rainman215
The 4 ohm version would get more power from the amp Quote My 02 Accord Wall Build 2 Sundown Audio Nightshade V1 18s --- 1 SAZ 3500 Sundown Audio 100.4 --- 4 Sundown Audio Neo-Pro 8s Sundown Audio 125.2 --- 2 Morel MD-12 Tweeters , 2 Selenium ST-200 Tweeters DC Power 270xp --- 4 XS Power D1200s | 1 D5100R
