What else does 1000 watts clamped at 3 1/2ohms? Not any other 1kw amp. I think they are awesome And ive never been a jl dealer. Just real hard to beat I understand what your saying Ray, the fact that it does rated at various voltages and impedance loads is great. I just don't think the price is justified by that. The RF 1000bdcp is less than half the price (locally) of the 1000/1, and it also does rated or damn near it at various loads... Quote Bassless once again. Just a tad over. We got 1078 out of it average. Granted my dmm's aren't the best, but they've been reliable. He's running a irragi 220 alt, 0/1 awg, big 3, and two hc2400's so I know electrical isn't an issue for one JL amp.
