MrGeo Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 my buddy Brett bought the truck with this JVC headunit in it and it has been working since november, but recently the audio would just cut out and all that would play is bass. Over the last week it has been , but now it only plays bass. Can anyone tell me if there is a known fix for this or if he just needs to buy a new headunit? I took it out the dash and there's no noticeable loose connections, also, the speakers were recently replaced with AudioPipe 6.5"s. Thanks for your help! bass_stalker Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 i would say if it was the auxiliary it was a short in his cord or something. did he mess with any of the settings in the radio that change the outputs to low pass. do you have any other radios he can try?
