MarcoCaparrotta
I recently bought 2 12" W7's and I need an amp that stable at 1.5 ohms. I know that the JL 1000/1 is, but they are 700 bills a piece, and I really don't want to buy two of them. If anyone knows a decent price amp that can put out 1000 watts and is stable at 1.5ohms, please post. thank you.

fecupe2001
Any 1 ohm stable amp will work at 1.5 ohms but after some rise you would loose some power, i would try something like a kicker ZX1500.1 wired at 1.5 ohms, that should sound very nice Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Just curious, I didn't think they could take much more than 1kw. Quote Bassless once again. techforce
They should handle it if you are decent on the throttle! LOL! But... if they can't... it will be a fun ride while they last! LOL!

LOL thats true, id throw a 2500 on em, but my gains would all be set correctly and a proper box, if the OP isint that experienced, a 1500BDCP will do, Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
