240sx, have you gone through Fecupes SPL gain thread and tested out some of the things he's mentioned?

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

The 45hz tone and higher started to drop off. Should I cut an inch or 2 off port to c if peak freq goes up and gets louder?

Did you use a friends TL or was this at a comp?

If this is a comp box then yeah, you might want to alter the tuning frequency closer to the resonant freq of the vehicle, if this is a daily box then you may want to leave it alone. Depends on your goal with this system.

i got a removable port. The daily port peaked at 148.1@33 hz. I think ill leave that alone for now cause it sounds good to me. I put in the spl port i made and it peaked 150.3 at 44hz. I dont mind tweaking this port and ill prolly try to raise tuning on it and try to c what happens. There was a comp yeasterday and the guy running it let me take the meter and laptop home to mess around with it today. I did all tests with car running and sealed up with the meter same spot as they do at the shows
