thisll be my next one. im going to stop today and ask about a price

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/2GLPF2050203-1.html

I've shot one once, played with it for about 30 min. Compared side by side to a glock .40, seemed pretty close, accuracy, handling wise, but could tell there definitely is more power behind it. Never gone for one due to the ammo being more expensive and harder to find, I prefer to pick up my ammo locally unless it's special or custom rounds, until I get a loading license anyways.

i order in bulk. im not a wheel gun fan and my area has seemed to pick up alot of bear activity. fucking people feeding them and stuff. and since we take the baby for walks quite a bit i want something with some ass behind it. ill take my luck on 15 rounds of 10mm over my g27 .

I'd go for a .357 mag or even a.44, they'll do the job quite nicely. I feel you, gotta protect the fam. I'd get a kbar and go rambo if need be, lol. I'd win....

if i liked wheel guns id end up with a 454 casull or something silly like that.

Held one, never fired it. Didn't have the money to. Fired .500 mag, and a deagle .50 ae. Mostly I used rifles, few handguns.

bear gun, 500mag or one of my favs "the judge" my issue with "wheel guns" is they loose so much power from the gas leaked from the chamber to the barrel. A 10mm will do serious damage, not a big fan of them for a personal weapon though. I think I'll kind of side with n8 though, I'll take having more bullets any day(hence being a machine gunner:)) And to those one shot one kill goons, welllll that shit is boring imo. Sitting in some bushes that took you 3 days to low crawl to and then waiting more days to get "the shot" you can't ever beat putting rounds down range. Not spraying and praying either.

the art of snipping changes time to time. Its alot different than it was 60-70 years ago. we shoot further, have better bullets, and higher capacities. But I will say you can't beat the sexy smooth action of the m24. That was one of my favorites to shoot.

Nice selection. Ill be their one day. I gotta russian nugot, c9 9mm, ruger .22 pistol, and a mac 11 which is really fun.

you mean nagant? like the mosin nagant?

mosin nagant's r nasty

in 1930. now i hardly classify it as nasty. more like a relic

Vasily Zaytsev... enough said

a world war II sniper. exactly. you proved my point. also keep in mind snipers were not well deployed in world war II. wars were fought differently then. there isnt an individual alive that would pick a mosin over any of the rifles used for that purpose today. hell they are 100 bucks and dont even want one.

of course cuz ur comparing pintos to probes...

Only reason I said a big boy pistol is because I've seen bear take .308 straight to the chest and still charged about 30 yards until we put another one through his chest. And the first I went hunting was with my dads friend, and at 70 yds tagged a bear with brenneke ko 12g slug and the damn thing jumped and looked around like what the shit? I just prefer to make sure when I hit something, i don't give it a chance top react, besides hitting the ground. And a 10mm has some power, but a charging bear can be hell to stop.

I got you on that lol. My best friends fam is from Alaska and told me the diff guns they used. But it boils down to staying the hell away from from bears lol. His dad had a buddy put 4 rounds from the 500 in a bear kept going another 40yrds. Another guy, two well placed shots from a 357sig to the dome, and done lol. A lot is preference imo. I say shoot what you feel most comfortable with. I prefer springfields XD series to glocks. I feel more comfortable and thus shoot better with the XD. I felt better with M4s than the M-16a4 and shot better lol. I went from 35s-36s to 38s-39s in quals. I shot better with a more inaccurate weapon lol

see im just the opposite iwth the xd and glock. I have a hard time making sure the grip safety is engaged. Sometimes I'll be half engaged and that means no fire. im sure I could get use to it but in my limited trigger time iwht the XDs. The XDM package right now is one of the best deals going.

I tend to grip too hard lol. But I've heard that from a few people though. Seems pretty common issue for some people. I liked it just for that reason. Plus where I kept it my car was not ideal and the extra safety would help prevent an ND or AD. Bullet holes in a car is no good lol
