WillPwn4Food
So there I was... Looking at subwoofers to replace my Cadence.... Thinking (2) 10" L7's sealed off from trunk. Then I had a curveball thrown at me. I was suggested to get Fosgate T1 10's or AQ HDC310 Copper's sealed, or a single Fosgate or L7 15".... I can't decide... All of them are pretty comparable in all stats, except the AQ's stand out in power handling. This is in a Ford Taurus, mind you. If I went with the 15", it'd be in the trunk, 10's would be sealed. Just wondering if anyone's heard setups of any, and could help point me in the direction of which setup (Or top two setups) would be loudest. I know, I know... There's so many variables yadda yadda. Just lookin' for some opinions. WillPwn4Food
To begin with, It'll be a Kenwood KAC-9105D Monoblock (500wrms @ 40hm, 900@ 2, >900@1) eventually upgraded to an AQ 1200D or 2200D. thefirstjeepsytem
im running a kicker L7 15" in my jeep, ported & itll knock the wind out of ya. its also a jeep... so the whole inside of the car is barely 10 cubic feet. makes a big difference how big the car is. I have 2 enclosures for my current sub. One for making your eardrums bleed, and one for giving them orgasm. On the latter, metal sounds just fine. And I completely forgot about Sundown. That's actually a great suggestion.
