blownengine Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 To find the output of your amp you need to set the gains first. Other wise you might be reading a dirty signal giving you false power readings. To test the power you need a clamp meter and a dmm. Put the clamp around the positive speaker wires and use the dmm to probe the positive and negative speaker outputs. Run some test tones and record what each meter says. Multiplying the amps by the voltage gives you watts.
