korey_hofer
dd's use cheap laminated spiders, you want to tear them in half go full tilt out of the box. If you want your sub to last break it in. The dc's spl subs have the same problem to all of you dc guys trying to one up on DD. Reilly
It's all about the user. The lower levels of DD use less spiders, and take less break in time in general. They will all get louder with time as the spiders loosen up. Sometimes there is a lot of glue bleed on the spiders, working toward the center, and it takes time for the spiders to loosen up there. The real problem is that when new, they are stiff, and that causes you to work them harder to get their output, so clipping, overheating the coil happens easier when new Quote Clovis Custom Audio 559-392-3600 96 Silverado Single Cab 2-DD9515's Cut-through 1-DDSE Amp Stock electrical and a couple small stingers, LOL
