bre2ts
well I was using my oscope the other day and it died of battery so I throw it on the charger and now it seems that the screen won't work. The light works and it beeps when you change the settings from off to dc to ac and etc... Any idea what could be wrong? Monergist
Put it back on the charger. And see if there's a way to reset it. bre2ts
heres the trouble shooting section of manual very in depth heres pics of all the boards, doesn't show any sign of water damage back of lcd front of main board back of main board so if one of those 2 fuses were blown it could cause the screen not to turn on? i get some black lines sometimes when i try to turn it on but they quickly go away Feedback 1 | Feedback 2 you win some, you lose some
Monergist
I'd say defective screen. And I don't think the light would work if the screen fuse was blown. 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Pioneer AVH-P5200BT Hertz Mille MLK-165 Component System Hertz Hi Energy HCX-165, 6.5 Hertz Hi Energy HCX-690 (6x9s) Audison Voce AV K6 Component System Audison VRX 4.300 Audison VRX 2.250 Sundown 4500D SMD 15" XS Power D3400 (under hood) Three XS Power D3100 (trunk) Monster XLN-201 RCAs DC Power Engineering 390XP H/O Alternator
bre2ts
neither fuse affects the light... took them both out to see if it did already. can you purchase just the screen? Feedback 1 | Feedback 2 you win some, you lose some
Monergist
I doubt it. I wish you were close by; we could take the screen out of mine and put it in yours to make sure it's really the issue. 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Pioneer AVH-P5200BT Hertz Mille MLK-165 Component System Hertz Hi Energy HCX-165, 6.5 Hertz Hi Energy HCX-690 (6x9s) Audison Voce AV K6 Component System Audison VRX 4.300 Audison VRX 2.250 Sundown 4500D SMD 15" XS Power D3400 (under hood) Three XS Power D3100 (trunk) Monster XLN-201 RCAs DC Power Engineering 390XP H/O Alternator

Monergist
Well, just don't tell them you took it apart..haha. I did the same thing with my son's Leap Frog when the screen went out. Got the screen back on after wiping everything down and cleaning insert prongs, but then the touch screen aspect stopped working. 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Pioneer AVH-P5200BT Hertz Mille MLK-165 Component System Hertz Hi Energy HCX-165, 6.5 Hertz Hi Energy HCX-690 (6x9s) Audison Voce AV K6 Component System Audison VRX 4.300 Audison VRX 2.250 Sundown 4500D SMD 15" XS Power D3400 (under hood) Three XS Power D3100 (trunk) Monster XLN-201 RCAs DC Power Engineering 390XP H/O Alternator
