I want to play this loud and low and long daily driver. However, if I were you, I'd stick with something closer to RMS. I'd find something in the 500-800 wrms range. Could it take more? Hell yeah. But over powering a subwoofer on that level will (IMO) take a bit more experience than I believe you have.
