stipek
Here is the headunit with the lit protected toggle switch for the amp compartment led lights. The HU is a media receiver and does not play cd's. It has an internal tray with usb that holds ipods and such so you don't have a cord hanging out and your ipod sliding around. It also has an external usb but the main reason i bought it was the hidden tray. I got 7 gb music on a usb stick and I'm set. The flash drive isn't sticking out like all other cd players in which i broke my last flash drive from bumping it too many times. i think cd's are going away with ipods and downloading tracks. stipek
Figured I put up the number. Only got on the meter 4 times at my first (small town local) comp. Won Street B with a 141.7 sealed on the glass playing Bass Mekanik - Dr. Oblivion. Don't know the freq. but I'm guessing 40 because that is one of the songs peaks that seemed to produce the number. Haven't done any other testing so that is it for this setup at this time. I hope to God that's not the case. At the very least not before we have a place to download lossless tracks from. And even then I'd still prefer buying a CD. Setup looks good though. How's the deck treating you? I may end up picking one of them up for the same reason you did. lol Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive. 2002 Buick Park Avenue DC Level 4 M2 12 D2 Car Audio Bargain 1600.1 Eclipse CD3200 ~2 cubes @ 34 hz. poorfish88
Sweet box build, you got skills. How do like the Sony deck? I hardly ever use CDs myself, so interested in this deck. I've seen it on TV and thought in was nice, but I'm still unsure about it.
stipek
Very nice skills dude, that box ended up looking sexy as hell, what amplifier is that again? congrats about winning the show!! Thanks man. I owe a lot of it to you. You got me started in the right direction and I used some of your spl gains results. Without any testing however but I think it helped some. It's a mtx jackhammer 600 amp (tested at 676w) so only roughly 338w rms coming off the amp to each 500w sub. An amp upgrade is on the wish list among other things but I take baby steps and it won't happen until at least next summer. I've seen it on TV and thought in was nice, but I'm still unsure about it. I like it and this is a good deck for the the price.4v sub outs.yeah it doesn't' play cds but I got about 7 gigs of music on a usb stick so no switching out cds or shuffling a cd changer. I had a Sony with the usb slot on the outside and bumped it so many times the stick itself broke. Main reason why I bought this because the stick is in the hidden tray and I was already used to not listening to cds. I got a lot of decaf stuff. It's pretty sweet.
