beaner_man
I have one and about a year ago I had it clamped to see what I was really running and it was pretty close for 4 ohms (972 watts), so while it's not perfect it's close. Plus while haters are hating it is a good amp, just don't try to wire it to .5 ohm like i did. 2 years strong and still beating harder than my brother's HIfonics brutis amp and Sundown subs, but looking to see how it's going to fair with 2 15" RE Audio SEx subs. mattie
Planet Audio does have some decent amps for the money but stay way away from the Anarchy line. The AP3000D only has a 150 amp fuse so do your own numbers on that, hardly 3000. I have an RXD1000 so I can speak from experience as most cant. It has 3x40 amp fuse and slams my Diamond Audio 12 pretty good. Not that fuse ratings mean everything, just giving you an idea.
wowfun2
Don't forget Planet Audio amps can easily get overheated running at 2 Ohms because it doesn't have heat sink or cooling fans. I've had experienced with Planet Audio AC2500.1M running 1800W at 2 Ohms. 2 12 Kickers CVR | Kenwood 9105D @ 2 Ohms | Box tuned 39 hertz low custom | Nissan Maxima 01 SE 3.5 | I have no idea what my dB at "If you hear me Booming around the block then you better be prepared to call the police on me before I drive-by your house!" "Boom cars so goddamn loud it ridiculous, hey excuse me what about your fartcan back of your car vroom, vroom!"
big dee
Planet audio suck. I bought one last year and it felt heavy like it was a decent amp. Had issues out of the box day one! I yanked it out then I beat it to death with a hammer lol and when it poped open I seen a 10 inch long 1/4inch thick steel plate screwed to the inside of the heat sink . Absolutely the worst amp I have seen or Tryed to use. I will never waist time or money on these amps. Go buy the soundqubed 750 amp for 200 and you will be pleased
big dee
The steel plate was used to make the amp feel like it was heavy like a quaulty amp would be. That pissed me the hell off to see a company pulling shady shit like this . Realy planet audio ads steel to weigh them down to trick people
mattie
I suspect something different other then just running at 2 ohm, I've owned my RX series and have ran it at 1 ohm ever since I bought it and thats been about 5 years. Its never shut down on me nor has it ran hot enough to make me think it was and I've pushed my sub hard enough to get it stinky plenty of times. What series was that plate in?
