  1. dang.. thats stupid loud. That wall looks really really really nice too. those leds were a nice touch
  2. umm... HO alt., big 3, 1/0 runs, and i guess keep adding batteries until your voltage stops dropping?
  3. umm.. stay away from brass screws for a box. i have no idea why i used them in my first box i made, i guess because they were shiney haha, but the heads strip out realllllllyyyyyy easily, and theyre really expensive
  4. Thought that myself. She's been pissy lately. Saying I'm "too clingy" and such. "See? This what I'm talking about. I came down to my room to be alone for a second, and you followed me." Ummmm... I went down after she had been down for a few minutes because everyone upstairs was loud and annoying.... wtf? Anyway... That's the only real place I have to go out here. I could move to Marietta with my aunt, but I go to school in Carrollton (for anyone who knows where stuff is in GA). If your engaged how can you be "too clingy"...? Part of being engaged is gonna require being around eachother. Good luck though, i hope everything works out for you
  5. try audiosavings too. idk if they have that amp but thats where i got my brutus brz2400 and it was for really really cheap and came with free cap. and 0 gauge amp kit
  6. you could kill a good amount of time with these youtube videos haha
  7. Oh, it is possible with the right size of box and power. This guy in video got two solo X12" and can do the hairtrick pretty well. Thats what i want. im probably going to go with a slightly smaller box with a little more port area than the box i have now. the box is too big for the power im pushing haha
  8. sand with like 320, then 800, then wet sand with 2000 then prime, paint, and clear. thats how i did most of my interior and my friend that paints interior pieces and grills and stuff like that for money does it that way too
  9. Usually rap. i listen to mostly everything though. and ive seen a person get a decent hair trick out of these subs in a trunk car Well if you listen to a lil bit of everything, I would tune closer to like 33-36hz I'm tuned at 34.7ish and I play well down into the 20's no prob. An just cause one guy was able to in a trunk car doesn't mean anyone can do it. Its very dependent on the vehicle and install. Oh and can you link a vid of that hairtrick on those subs? heres the youtube link, he is pushing more power to them than i am.. hair trick part starts at 3:09
  10. Usually rap. i listen to mostly everything though. and ive seen a person get a decent hair trick out of these subs in a trunk car
  11. I have 2 sundown sa12s and im trying to move as much air as i can with them, like enough to do decent hair tricks, and i need suggestions on how much port space per foot i would need. im looking to tune the box at 29hz as that is what my current box is tuned at. Most likely going with an L-port design and subs up port up. Any help is appreciated
  12. well, ive done more numbers and measuring and ive found that the largest depth i could fit would be 17" but with 2 4" aeros the port length would be too close to the back wall of the box. So would ports to the drivers side and subs up still move air like i want? im mainly trying to do hair tricks. stuff like that. any help is appreciated..
  13. One more question, what is the minimum space needed between the opening of an aero port, inside the box, and the back wall of the box?
  14. Build looks really good. i might be going with that set up. and why were the port tubes fiberglassed? so smaller box so the subs will handle the full power?
  15. nvm. link isnt working new box specs, just playing with the numbers Height:15 depth: 18 length: 36 number of aeros: 2 diameter: 4" Length of ports: 15" gives 25.12sq in. of port area IS this a decent plan?
  16. as for box dimensions i would have to go measure. and dual 4 wired down to 1ohm. and i was looking to go maybe a little smaller than the box i currently have becuase im overpowering them. but would shared chamber with maybe 2 4" aero ports move the most air i could witht this setup? and about 4th orders, i have no clue, its been forever since ive known anything about them so ive forgeotten haha
  17. im also looking to keep as much of the aero port inside the box as possible. i dont really want a big port coming out of the side of the box a mile long
