48sqin is a conversion of the 310sqcm you gave. 78 would be a 10. 48 would be an 8.

Well the subwoofer is a 10" it's an RE SEX than i'm trying to save up for. Maybe it's the surround being big that gets rid of a bunch of cone area or something?
