NotEnoughBass
This is the amp I think I will buy to power two obsidian audio D4 15s. Anybody have any positive/negative experiences? If you are going to recommend a diff amp do one that is cheaper than this because im maxing out my $1000 build budget. I have two other off topic questions. One, what wires do you replace when doing the big three, second, do I have any chance of getting a hair trick out of this system? 1998 Jeep Cherokee Alpine HU Crunch Powerone 300.2 mid/highs + AP15001D bass Soon to be two OA18s Cadence coax and sony tweets Big three + All 1/0 wire Optima Yellow Top No hating on my ghetto system plz. Nick0118
No telling about the hair trick, and i have the same amp, im actually gonna be running two of them, i absoultly love the amp, but if you run in deffently run 0 gauge all the way through, i didnt and my amp was clipping, and the big three is a must with this amp, i just have one hooked up now to a older fusion nsvw 15, and have the big three dont and im still droping my voltage to 11 volts, this amp is supose to run on 16 volts... lol but the big three is pos. battery to alt. and new chassis ground, but if you get this amp and big three youll love it, i dont have one complaint about this amp
BigPimpin91
Fucking amazing amps for the price. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to do some minor electrical upgrades as anything will help. BigPimpin91's Banging Music

Realy better you use 0/1 gauge 1500 watts only the subsamp, dont save up on the wrong side. just1moreamp
Has anyone ever clamped one of these AP1500D amps to see what kind of power thay are makeing, just asking
Jonnyrxt
I haven't personally clamped one but a friend of mine did and he was making about 60 watts lower then rated power at 2 ohms, my only issue with these amps is that the SNL is low. bigp_on_the_beat
I've owned one for about a year now and i got nothing negative about it. I thought it wasnt going to perform because its so little but it lasted and sound the best compared to my other amps (hifonics, xplod, audiobahn). I played it on full tilt for 30 mins and it didnt even get hot it was barely warm. I push it to the max 1500rms at 1 ohm and it beats with no problems, having a good electricalnis key to keeping these things pushing all day No car at the moment. Cardboardcat15
I've had mine for about 7 months or so now, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. It's a great amp for the price. Ran it on low voltage (would drop into the low 12's high 11's) for most of the time, and I've never had any problems. Was running it @ 1ohm off of 1 Optima red top and a stock 60 amp alt, now doing the same but on a 220 amp alt with a secondary battery. My Channel on YouTube.
