kicker L3, yea or neh

does anyone have any experience with these new solo's? im looking at running three of the 12's in my 05 explorer on a hiphonics bre2500.1. im able to get them for 108$ each so i figured they would be worth a try. i did a little searching on here and a little on the net to find very mixed reviews. quite a few people said they were horrible as far as power handling is concerned blowing up very very easily and others that say they pound. in my application id be porting them. the truck has the big three a 140 amp alternator and an 1100 cca battery under the hood. 0 gauge power and ground all the way from the batt to the amp. so what do you guys think? this is gonna be a daily for the g/f, she was running a pair of diamond D3 12's on this amp and it was pretty nice. unfortunately she toasted them after about 8 months and even though they will warranty them she wont let me put them back in there lol.

nothing is really wrong with promoting great products, but kicker subs have always been meh in my eyes, even before finding out about the other brands, ive always thought they were kinda low quality

I did 3 l3 15's in a 94 caprice off t1500bdcp did pretty good in there not bad for the money your paying and people that haven't used the woofers probably shouldn't be saying they're shitty.

If u like kicker buy 2 12" l5s 500 rms each on that amp should be pretty good , the l3 I think maybe the same as the dodge mopar kicker upgrade they are offering , if so they are decent but not l7 , as for kicker ,,,,,, haters gonna hate no matter what

why wont people learn its not about hate, their subs just are not good quality stuff... and when your warranty runs out, and you blow one, you got a giant paperweight... you cant even recone them...

so why not just get a sub you CAN get reconed if you blow it.. and save you money in the long run..

but, if you disagree you are automatically labeled a hater... sorry that truth hurts peoples feelings.. kicker subs are far from good/decent quality, they left that with their amps.. not their subs
