kr15 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 In general, its pretty safe to say that whatever your amp draw should be, you can likely get a burp on a fuse rated for half or 1/3 of that. Some people fuse way down, but in general, 1/2 or 1/3 is pretty safe guess. For example, if your running a 1000w amp with in theory a 100a draw, you can pretty easily fuse down to 30-50a.
