Ill be running them off the stock amp thats already in there, i believe its the bose amp as well, for now, i dont mind paying about $50-75 for a good pair, i know ima need a lot more highs to over power the beastly fi, as of right now my sound in my car is great, beyond what ive ever heard in any other car with stock speakers. When people get in they look back to see whats in the back and when they see nothing the first question is, are these all stock? So im looking to replace the the dash with whatever is gonna sound as good if not better, im not gonna pay 35 bucks for a pair that are gonna just fix the open space in the dash. I dont mind paying an extra 40 for a decent pair, and as far as the whole upgrade, im just trying to get the system outta the way to have some bass, as of next summer ill be doing 1 more 18 and 1 more aq 3500 if they still make em, so during that point ill work on all the speakers along with amps to power them.

For now im just looking for speakers that will fit directly in the 4x6 space, no converting, at this point not worried about that. Like i said if someone sat in my car they wouldnt notice the diff with the speaker not there, but i can..So of course im willing to pay for the better brand, i heard the kappa series is a beast, but i also heard the reference can easily do the trick as well. Ive eliminated Alpine off my list from research and reviews of others, so were still looking at Ininity, Kicker, RF.

And as far as turning the treble up, anyone who knows anything about car audio knows when it comes time to settings for subs/speakers, to let the speakers do the work, not the deck.

Edit* Still need to find out what the amp puts out, dont wanna run 4ohm speakers if its made for 2ohm, one reason i cant do the RF T Series, ill try to take out center council tomorrow to see if i can find model number and specs for amp.

I've got reference 4X6's in my B-pillar for rear fill but I have them amped. They sound super crisp and clear, but you wanna cross them over around 120 Hz. If you're running that Bose amp, you might be ok and not have to worry about bottoming out. I can't remember what i paid for them, maybe 50 bucks?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I dont blame you man I was just throwing out ideas anyway. If you are looking for 2 ohm 4x6 it may be rough. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the JBL 4x6 plate they are 2ohm.http://www.woofersetc.com/p-7987-p6462-jbl-4-x-6-2-way-power-series-plate-speakers.aspx They are a little over your budget but are two ohm. my brother has two sets in his truck and they scream the front have 75w going to each and the rears have 30w to each. They are clean and very accurate but not a lot of low end since it runs a 3.5-4 mid instead of a full 46. I would say you could compare them to the quality of the t series or the infinity reference.

infinity jbl both made by harmon international and if u can snag those references for 70 scoop them up just like the guys said make sure u put a bass blocker on them or maybe the bose system has crossover points set up and it is only getting 100-160hz up they do not like anything below that.
