I didnt have it bolted in but im not sure I could bolt it in, it looked like it wanted to fly out(maybe have somthing to fo with my sh!itty box im made) .And at low volume. Even if the 3k only does 2000 watts ist still cheaper then a kicker or rockford or any other big name 2000watt amp the only reason its cheaper is because its a cheaply built product, and doesnt put out rated (no one has publicly clamped one yet). when kicker and rockford make amps that last for-fucking-ever and put out more power than rated. extremeauto Posted October 2, 2011 Report Share Posted October 2, 2011 desided to try my hifi 2500 @0.5ohm and t seems to be ok and kinda likes it...lol ran it for 10 mins while tuneing the amp and it got warm but not close to hot...pounded it for another 30 mins or so and it hasnt got hot or shut down yet...of course i have a ok chargeing system tho....i will update if it breaks or shuts down...
