How many watts untill you need 2nd Battery?

I was wondering if a new car truck could run a rockford Power T1500 and 2 punch 500.. or would it strain the ele. system....

I would suggest a second battery for any system that is at 1500 watts total and above

That will def strain it... Fosgates are power hungry.... That's not that big a system so you can do with a small battery...check out rams for sale post he had some Batt's for cheap u don't need much more than that

I run fine with a t1500bdcp and a t400-4. Really depends on your cap. Best way to check is too watch your voltage. If it doesn't drop much you should be fine. That is on stock alt and batt.

Thanks guys would I need a bigger alternater to keep 2 batterys changed? I my just go with a T1000 and 0ne punch 400 or 500.. not sure Im ready to add anoth battery:)

I run 1 big battery, and 1 big alternator on ~4500wrms total and I never go below high 12v range.
