That1Kid
Fuck what anyone says about spending lots of money on a system; there is always gonna be haters. EVERYONE has a hobby. And, yes. Saving up money sucks. I've been working on my build for a year, and haven't even started building. AA98hoe
It all depends on sacrafices your willing to make for your hobbie. Caraudio is my passion I live and dream it. Its taken me a year or two and thousands spent almost 10k to get were I'm at. I work aot of side jobs and did a lot of trading. I've had the same bass amps the whole time I've reconed numerous times cause of user error etc. And I'm always striving to get louder. I keep upgrading my electrical and being loud isn't cheap I've gone through 4 alternators .Luckily my hoe is my daily driver and my work truck so my boss will pay for all repairs. This yr alone I've got a new motor windshield shocks brakes doorhandles etc lol oh and I have a work gas card that helps too:-) Edited September 7, 2011 by dc98hoe Quote TEAM DC AUDIO VEHICLE:98 chevy tahoe 2wd 3-4 drop HEADUNIT:alpine 9886 PREAMP:arcaudio FRONT STAGE:4-6 1/2s selinium,DD component set and 4-selinium tweeters in each door KICKPANELS:jl audio 5 1/4 REAR DOORS: dd components 6 1/2s HIGHS AMPS:zapco 750.2 on front doors, zapco an another 750.2 on kicks and rear doors SUBS:4-ascendant audio 18s with 5 spiders in a custom box built by KINGSUV SUB AMP: 2-dc7.5s ALTERNATORS: 3-mechmans 1- 425comp, 1-smd spec350, 1-270 with adj voltage harness on custom dc bracket WIRE:10-runs 0g front to back BATTERIES:6-d1400s TL results:157.1 at 38hz and 156.8 at headrest score @37hz. I'm in the same boat, only I'm at about 6 months. We'll get there one day.
