psx2p
always remember to primer the box before you put anything on it.....bedliner, paint, fleck-stone, all of it will just soak right into the wood every time costing a lot of money and a poor outcome. Primer will seal that wood up so it wont act like a sponge when you go to put a coat of whatever you ar putting on it and it should come out 1000 times better. Trust me, this is also something you find out the hard way...there was no internet when i learned lol. i would sand all that off. Sand those corners smoother, primer it with a color similar to what you are laying down.......and try again. Trust me you will like it better. This is great advice, I was actually wondering if there was a way to stop the wood from soaking all of this up. This will make a nice weekend project, What grit sand paper would you recommend? The new design looks more promising. Keep it up Thanks man ^^^ my uncle used-to say " use the primer stupid " then he'd whack me in the back of the head. i wish he was as nice as Steve lol Mr.Miyagi? Thanks man, I am trolling these forums all the time, learning things here and there. big question is how does it sound now with the aero port compared to the vent in it b4? Like a brand new box. I couldn't really compare since I messed up the slot port when I made it and it was tuned at about 80hz I think it was. I think there's something I didn't calculate in when I used the calculator because I cant really pic up the lows with the box/port but I can hear the loud bass clearly. It gives me a reason to tinker 01 GMC Sonoma 4x4 RF T1500.1bd DC LVL 4 12"
