buying a dmm

would this dmm set gains? ive seen dmm's and clamps and all before.. never owned one or actually myself used one though.

although setting gains with a DMM isnt PERFECT it Should do the trick, I use a $15 one from autozone

To do it correctly you need a O-scope or give the DD-1 a try
