Was great for the time. Had Rockford 4" and 6" in each door and Tweeters up by sun visors. I know technology has progressed and the newer stuff may be better and less expensive, but I prefer the older gear. I use a "newer" Power 550x in my daily driver. I've had it since 2002 and it has NEVER failed me. Rock solid amp and I'll buy another if I can find one. Do you have a output test on the Power 1000? Unfortunately not...the Mosfet 1000 is one of the few RF old school amps I don't have (but I have a nice, chrome shroud awaiting!)
