adam6604 Posted September 18, 2011 Report Share Posted September 18, 2011 i have a stock battery under my hood, a Kinetik HC 1400 in the back.. and i saw on kijiji, a Kinetik HC600 for 70$, can talk him down more.. my system is getting a tad voltage drop since im running .5 now. so basically would adding the little HC600 be alright ? Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models ) Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood ) Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck. Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine. Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires Bushwacker fender flares Magnaflow true duel exhaust LED tail lights with Projector headlights Plasti-dip fun coming soon! captainhook426 Posted September 18, 2011 Report Share Posted September 18, 2011 It is to my understanding that it doesn't matter the size of the batteries as long as they discharge close to the same rate. So in theory all that would happen is the smaller of all the batteries will be the first to give up in the long run. Now that's how I understand it; so someone with the knowledge can jump in now and correct me Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around.
