Yes? the AQ3500, is the old model with only single 0guage inputs the AQ3500.1 has dual inputs and is rated at 4300 rms instead of 3500 like the previous model. I got 546.7 watts @ 9ohms out of my AQ 3500.1 at 12.6 volts. I havent clamped my BC 5500 yet but so far love it. And shouldn't have a problem with burning up Fi's tinsels like the AQ did.

The crescendo is (under)rated at 3500 rms.

What do you mean? Btl's?

If you knew what you were doing you could put a single fully loaded btl on it. Put I dont recommend you doing that yet, get some more experience and you'll know when your equipment is at it's limit.

If it helps out any.. im running 2 btl n2s on a powerbass 5k and it gets pretty nasty. But a single 3500 for a pair of btls might not be enough either but yes it will still get loud if you plan on doing 4 18s. Id run 2 3500s

But seriously a AQ 3500 now and another strapped later would be sweet. And if you wanted more you could always get 2 more AQ's later down the road.
