Battery or Capacitor?

so if i was to get a better alt u think i would be good with out a second battery and/or capacitor?

i have not done the big 3 upgrade yet but hopefully i will do that soon

i meter my battery and i get 14volts and it drops down to 11-12volts when my subs hit (stock alt)

big 3 first then alt and/or battery

I may be wrong here but, with what you are running it seems to me that your stock alt, big 3, and an XS D3400 will be anough. Cant stress proper wiring enough!

He also said 1 farad is good for about 75 watts of draw for 1 second. (75watts / 14.5 volts = 5.17xxxx amps enjoy buying several thousand farads to play a 30 second bass race)

battery's all the way i have ran both and the cap seems to take more to charge than it puts out.....

battery for sure. capacitors are crap. I had a cap until i got my D3100. lights still dimmed.. voltage still sucked..
